Frederika is the oldest member of the oldest family of the community that the MPD protect. The most powerful family in the community, the Reichman's wealth and influence have entered an era of great peril. With the recent death of her husband Augustus, Frederika has been placed in charge of the Reichman estate. However, she was never the brains of the operation. Selfish, demanding, and extremely overbearing, she expects to be respected simply because of who she is. However, her three kids, Katrina, Abby, and Rudy, each with their own eyes on her seat of power, have never particularly cared for her, and the MPD only listen to her because she pays them.
Frederika had a fourth daughter, Delia, in her early 40's. Speculation was rife that the father was not Augustus, and Frederika nearly died during childbirth, causing her a lifelong resentment of her youngest child. Both parents neglected her, and Delia ran away from home at age 17.
Many of the other wealthy families in the community have seen the cracks forming in the Reichman's foundation, and are seeking to take the position of the dominant family in the community. Like usual, Frederika is ignorant of what's going on around her, and continues on her domineering reign as if nothing's amiss.
